I liked this reading of Peter Pan, finally discovering the real story. Never would I have thought that Peter could have been so capricious, authoritarian and narcissistic, or that Clochette could be so bad. I liked the style of Matthew Barrie who seems to take us to witness or ask us for our opinion.
We discover the Darling family: the mother so attentive to her children, the father who calculates at each birth if one can keep the baby, the nanny Nana who is none other than a dog because according to the usages it is necessary a governess But Mr. Darling can not afford to pay one.
One finds in the imaginary country the Indians, the sirens, the fairies, the pirates, the lost children, as well as the ticking crocodile. All are described conscientiously by the author.
I loved the very end.
I liked this book, but I miss that little extra that make reading an unforgettable moment or maybe I discovered it too late
